Finally an update!!!

Been a long, long time since I posted anything to this blog. Not to bore you I will do a quick update... Put my home on the market a few years ago, stayed packed and didn't blog while concentrating on finishing up some repairs and improvement on the house until it sold.  Moved into a rental for two years and now I'm staying over at my elderly mom's in a fifth wheel for time being.  It's been a stressful few years and living in a small space is really taking a tole on my patience, but I"m back quilting, sewing, and embroidering again.

I use to give updates on this blog to all the quilt happenings around the web that I could find.
Well that hasn't stopped other then instead of putting them on this blog, i'm putting them on Pinterest, so go check them out.  I will be putting 2020 listings for hand and machine embroidery happenings also on my Pinterest boards, as well as sew a longs.  So if I don't post something new here, then keep watching my boards on Pinterest for most recent updates.

What Am I doing now?
I'm finishing up my Bonnie Hunter Mystery Quilt "Frolic"...
I'm also slowly working on HOYH (Hold Onto Your Heart) BOM by Esther Aliu, and even though I"m way behind at this point, I still signed up for her new one for 2020.  Applique quilts is my favorite technique so far and I just Love Esther's designs.

I have a crazy quilt in process (started it while in the rental for last couple years) and I quickly learned that the reason they call it crazy quilt is because you must be crazy to attempt it.  Not really, but I felt overwhelmed with these little blocks and soon decided I needed help in learning how to really do these... So I took some great online classes over at Shawkl to help .  If you ever want to start crazy quilting, I highly recommend her Classes.

I still have some UFO's in storage that I hope to get out this year and finish.
And lastly I have signed up to join in on Pat Sloans March Madness project.  Yep, I"m not only crazy, but Mad to I think.  Especially when trying to do all these projects in an RV.

At some point  this month, I will hopefully remember to share photo's of my projects that I'm working on, as well as how I am adapting to working in such a small space.  I know there are other RV'ers who quilt and sew in their rv's as well, so follow along and sign up for updates.
