2022 Wrap Up

It seems every year I have good intentions but as the months go by, I slowly drift away from keeping up.  In a nutshell, this past year I have had zero finishes  on any of my projects.  I have also not started any new projects, but I have worked on and off on old Unfinished Projects.  It's been a slow year for me and life just seemed to have other plans where as my hobbies had to take a back seat.  Working towards a better, more productive 2023 - God willing I hope to make new friends, learn new techniques, design at least one of my own, and finish up some of my past projects to get them into their forever homes.

Hope all my followers have a great new year making new friends and creating new things as well.
Stay tuned, the 2023 line up QAL, SAL, Mystery's, Challenges, BOM, Stitch Alongs, etc. is coming up starting tomorrow.   So keep watching.

More Fall Fun Coming...check these out.

Ok, I can't resist showing you all some new fun activities I ran across the last few days.  I Love Fall, Don't you?  It's that cozy, warm, cuddly time of year where you can settle in and create beautiful things.

32 In A Bussell.  How absolutely fantastic is this quilt.
This SAL is being hosted over at The Last Piece
Sign ups close Sept. 8th so hurry and go sign up if you want to make this one.

Fall is for harvest and over at MadamSew you can find a tutorial for making these lovely canning Jar Quilt blocks.
You can arrange your jars in any order and add as many rows as you desire to make the quilt as large or small as you prefer.  Look how fun those fabrics are. And why not do one with buttons, scissors, and other sewing notions and supplies in the jars for your sewing space.

And Oh My Pumpkins!!!! Just look at this awesome pattern being sold exclusively over at Annies, called Pumpkin Harvest.
I love applique combined with piecing, so this pattern is right up my pumpkin patch alley.
It totally speaks fall, thanksgiving, and country harvest.  My little image doesn't do it justice, so go on over to Annies and take a closer look at this beautiful quilt pattern up close.

This Pattern is called "Twister Harvest".  This wall quilt measures 24-1/2" x 25-1/2" .
Twister Harvest Wreath Quilt puts a spin on the traditional pinwheel.
Designed by Becky Cogan, this pattern  is being sold over at Need'L Love for only $5.00.

If your looking for a wall hanging, or table topper, For fall, this one would work for either.

That's all I have for this morning, but if you want to see more coming soon, then make sure your subscribed to my email list for updates.

Have a great day everyone!!!

Time to Get Cozy

Today I set off on yet another adventure in quilting.  A little mystery sew along called "Cozy" shared by the always cheerful,  Pat Sloan over at "I Love to Make Quilts".  Mine is leaning towards a little more winter blues since I'm using "Perfect Union".  To cozy it up I will be adding some hot colors here and there as we go along.  Something to remind me of warm fires and Hot Coco.  You can find "Perfect Union"  over at the Fat Quarter Shop.

Looking on the brighter side...

After a very sad month last month where my best friend in the world passed away, then my aunt, and my mother fell twice and ended up in emergency... I'm trying to get back into the groove of working on my hobbies, and posting to my blog. Let's look at what's new and upcoming, and maybe some things I missed that I should have shared earlier...

So let's start with Seattle's "Cascadia Cabin in the Woods" BOM.  It has already started but you are more then welcome to join right in.  Link "HERE" to get instructions and start.  Looks like fun to me.

Stitchin Heaven is having a Reunion BOM beginning in July.  This is an awesome Quilt so go check it out and get registered.

Be In My Bonnet is at month two for the Bee Patriotic QAL - Head on over to join in "HERE".

There is a whimsy Garden Sew-Along going on over at "During Quiet Time".  They are on part 5 but you can still participate and pick up the ones you missed. This looks like tons' of fun so check it out.

You can always find several projects to follow along with over at Pat Sloan's place, including "Going on a Picnic" starting June 24th.

I don't have any new photo's to share right off hand of what I've been working on, but hopefully I will by the next time I post.  Take care everyone, stay safe, and let me know in the comments what you have been working on, or if your planning on taking part in any of the above.   I'd love to go visit your blogs if you have them, and see what you all have been doing.  Maybe some day we'll have a linky party.  : )
